VPRS 19290 Reports of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Surgical Teams in Vietnam

This series comprises reports from the Australian Civilian Surgical Teams stationed in Vietnam during the Vietnam war. The first team was made up of Royal Melbourne Hospital medical staff and arrived in Vietnam on 1 October 1964 to provide surgical service to Vietnamese civilians during the conflict. Subsequent teams were also sent from the hospital. The reports describe the activities undertaken by the teams including statistical summaries of the procedures given.
