Length of persister, viable but non-culturable, susceptible lysed, susceptible not lysed, and untreated control E. coli

Length of viable but non-culturable (VBNC), persister , susceptible not lysed and susceptible lysed E. coli before (t=0), during (0tt<24 h) with ampicillin at a concentration of 25×Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) in Lysogney Broth (LB). Length of untreated control cells were obtained in separate experiments where bacteria were provided with LB only, without ampicillin, from t=0 onwards.
