Bureau of Meteorology MTSAT-1R Sea Surface Temperature (SST) Product

The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) produces operational Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) satellite SST products in the International Group for High Resolution SST (GHRSST: www.ghrsst.org) "GDS2.0" file formats. This data stream contains the reprocessed archive quality SST products derived from MTSAT-1R JAMI sensor data using the BoM IMOS processing systems. Following SST products are available: v02.0 - Original legacy hourly, single scene, gridded ("L3U") for 2006 - 2010, available over the domain 70E to 150W, 70S to 70N. v03.0 - Hourly , single scene, gridded ("L3U") composites produced for GHRSST Tropical Warm Pool (TWP+) Project for January - April 2010, tuned for accuracy over the Tropical Warm Pool domain (90E to 170E, 25S to 15N).
