Vulnerable Population Exposure Layers for Urban Heat Risk Assessment in İzmir (Türkiye) - CRIZ-ERS

This dataset contains the population exposure layers used in the urban heat risk assessment for İzmir Metropolitan Area under CLIMAAX Project. Population data were derived from neighbourhood-level demographic statistics and rasterised to 30 m resolution. Age groups considered particularly vulnerable to heat stress were selected and converted into gridded population density layers. The dataset includes individual age-group rasters and a stacked vulnerable population raster used for exposure classification.
