RNase 7 downregulates TH2 cytokine production by activated human T-cells

Isolated human CD3+ T-cells were stimulated with the a recombinant mutant of the antimicrobial peptide RNase 7 without ribonuclease activity (RNase 7M) and screened for possible effects by mRNA microarray analysis. RNase 7M induced gene expression in human CD3+ T-cells was analysed after 6h. Four independent experiments were performed using different donors. RNA of 2 donors was pooled. In order to enable inspection of intensity values, dual-colour results were integrated into a single-color GEO matrix.
