Signwl GPU Price Index (SGPI) — Daily Series and Methodology

The Signwl GPU Price Index (SGPI) is a daily reference series for the cost of cloud GPU compute, published in two distinct forms: SGPI Level — an observation-weighted average price in USD per hour, blended across spot, on-demand, 1-year reserved, and 3-year reserved pricing tiers from the four major public cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). SGPI Index — a chain-linked, base-100 index (base = 100 on 2026-02-01), computed as a weighted geometric mean of daily price relatives across basket items present on both adjacent days. Designed to isolate pure price movement from changes in basket composition. This deposit is the version 1.0 snapshot. It contains the full daily time series, the complete methodology specification (with a worked example, entry/exit rules, revision policy, and change log), and a README with data dictionary and citation guidance.
