资源简介:
This data set was acquired with an Onset Computer Corporation U12-015-03 Autonomous Temperature Logger (S/N 9913817) deployed in October 2011 at 152 m below seafloor in the CORK-II installed in Hole U1382A in North Pond on the western flank of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge during IODP Expedition 336 (Edwards et al., 2012). The temperature logger was recovered in October 2017 using the ROV Jason during R/V Atlantis cruise AT39-01 (C.G. Wheat, Chief Sci.). The data file is in tab-delimited Text File (ASCII) format and includes time and temperature data that were converted from raw binary data using factory software and calibrations. The instrument was acquired with support from NSF award OCE-0946795 (K. Becker, PI) Collaborative Research: The basalt-hosted biosphere observatory at North Pond, advanced instrumentation for transformative science. Further NSF support was provided under grants OCE-1060855 and OCE-1536601 (K. Becker, PI), with 2017 ship time and ROV dive support from OCE-1536623 (C.G. Wheat, PI). Pressure data files from this CORK-II installation are also available from MGDS (Becker et al., 2015a, data set DOI 10.1594/IEDA/322273; and Becker et al., 2018a, data set DOI 10.1594/IEDA/324535). Long-term pressure and temperature data from Hole U1382A are presented by Becker et al. (2022).
