VPRS 15665 Correspondence Movement Register

This series records file or correspondence movements in the Department of Crown lands and Survey (VA 538). It is not known to which Branch or office it belonged, but may have been part of the records of the central correspondence registry.Details given, until late 1884 - 1885 were the number of the correspondence (as registered in VPRS 166 Alphabetical Registers of Inwards Correspondence (Refer to Microfilm Copy, VPRS 228)), the name and subject of the correspondence and the file management markings. Eventually only the correspondence number and the markings are listed.
