ABRS Flora of Australia Online

The Flora of Australia is a synthesis of present taxonomic knowledge of the country’s flora. It has been designed for use by anyone wanting authoritative information on the names, characteristics, distribution and habitat of Australian plants. This new digital platform integrates a wide range of botanical information from many sources, such as nomenclature, distribution maps, images, biodiversity data, and identification keys. For the first time, the Flora of Australia transitions from static taxonomic treatments to an innovative and dynamic online platform. This move has made the information more accessible and more user-friendly, with easier navigation through the classification, and more rapid updates. This series, of a planned 60+ volumes, describes the flowering plants, pines, ferns, mosses, liverworts and lichens to the species level.
