The aim was to investigate LPS-induced chages in cell metabolic pathways in the adrenal cortex. Bulk RNASeq was performed in microdissected adrenal cortices, followed by gene expression profiling analysis. Overall design: Mice were treated for 6 hours with 1 mg/kg LPS or PBS (n=3 mice per group), the adrenal cortex was isolated by laser microdissection, total RNA was isolated and bulk RNASeq was performed.
