Life history strategies of soil bacterial communities across global terrestrial biomes

The Global_Data.xlsx file contains the data used to build the trait dimensions of soil bacterial communities and assess its environmental drivers. The table contain : 1) relative abundances of COG, SEED, KEGG and CAZy categories in the annotated metagenomes of soil bacteria communities ; 2) Estimated genomic traits from these metagenomes (genome size and rrn copy number) 3) coordinates along the dimension of the global spectrum ; 3) Associated environmental data. The other datasets are : 4 tables of the original gene counts from the CAZy, SEED, KEGG, COG annotations of read pairs ; 16S OTU counts and 16S phylogenetic tree.
