Federal Highway: section: Collector to Brooks Creek (National Route No. 23): environmental impact statement

This Environmental Impact Statement presents particulars of these investigations in one volume and has been prepared with due regard to specialist reports. Information which applies to the Collector to Bungendore Road section of the highway has been extracted from the specialist reports. Lake George has received special attention and part of this statement is given to description of historical, hydrological, geological, and environmental aspects of the lake. The data is presented in the framework defined in Part V of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979 and Regulation, 1980. The specialist reports are available for perusal by any group or individual seeking more detailed information. Legislation covering the environmental assessment of projects of this nature provides a further opportunity for concerned individuals or groups to express their views during the public exhibition period of this Environmental Impact Statement.
