Group-Focused Enmity. Longitudinal study of the years 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008 und 2010 (panel)
收藏资源简介:
The aim of the project was to analyze the scale and development of the group-focused enmity syndrome over time in the Federal Republic of Germany and to explain its sociological and socialpsychological concepts: - To which extent do people question the dignity of outnumbered groups through pejorative and ostracize attitudes as well as discriminatory and violent behavior? - How does group-focused enmity change over time and are these changes associated with developments in society? - Are the elements of group-focused enmity somehow connected to each other? - What may explain the hostility towards those groups and how do such mentalities and behaviors evolve, become solid and spread? - How would societal and political measures have to be in order to successfully prevent group-focused enmity? There are factors associated with group-focused enmity on all levels from macro (contextual, social structures and conditions), through meso (e.g. relations between groups) to micro (including generalized ideologies and values and individual characteristics and opinions).
