Gene database of Arabidopsis thaliana

Arabidopsis thaliana is a
small flowering plant with a short life cycle that has been used as model
organism for studying plant development and genetics. This work sought to
provide foundational information for A. thaliana by parsing the
annotated genome sequence of the organism downloaded from GenBank. Comprising
gene name, gene function, and gene sequence, the resource should be useful for
a variety of genetics and molecular biology experiments seeking to dissect the
complex regulatory network governing traits such as flowering and light
sensing.
