In this study, a high-throughput genetic screening approach was used by employing a saturated Tn5 mutant library and transposon-directed insertion site sequencing (TraDIS) to identify genes required for growth in presence of cefotaxime, chloramphenicol, gentamicin, cefotaxime- chloramphenicol, and cefotaxime-gentamicin combination treatments in E. coli MG1655/pTF2.
