Nature of problem
The program determines the physical parameters of desired magnetic configurations for axisymmetric tandem mirror devices consisting of a large number of magnetic coils. Two main problems are considered: 1) Calculation and optimization of resultant on and off-axis magnetic fields and 2) Calculation of the magnetic flux surfaces having the property that the magnetic field lines lie within them.
