Cotton Candy XES YAML (Power Consumption, Environment, Temperatures, Metrology)

Cotton Candy Creation This dataset has been created by researchers from the Technical University of Munich, Chair for Information Systems and Business Process Management (i17), Boltzmannstraße 3, 85748 Garching b. München. The dataset has been created through https://cpee.org. The data set contains raw data and refined and aggregated data in the XES SensorStream format https://arxiv.org/abs/2206.11392. The dataset covers the following hardware: Universal Robot 5e for creating the cotton candy 1 Royal Catering RCZK-1030-W Cotton Candy Machine 1 Temperature sensor to measure the environment temperature 1 Humidity sensor to measure the environment humidity 1 Temperature sensor to continuously measure the temperature inside the 1 U.S. Solid Electronic Precision Balance 1200g x 0.01g, RS232 Interface scale The scenario contains the following properties: Cotton candy is created in batches The cotton candy machine has separate actuators for temperature and spinning After a cotton candy is made its quality is assessed by utilizing the scale The robot moves the candy towards the scale from different angles until contact to assess its size and thus fluffiness The robot puts the candy on the scale to assess its weight (and thus how much of the sugar went into the candy) While all of the cotton candy is produced and measured fully automatic, the process includes a human task: the human presses a button when cotton candy starts forming and when the forming of the candy finishes (a task which is very hard to automate as computer vision based implementations struggle with detecting the semi-transparent mist which signifies the start of cotton candy forming). This dataset was originally created to support the creation of digital twin, to optimize the heating/spinning actuation of the cotton candy machine, and thus optimizing quality and throughput. All process models are contained in the XES file as special events.
