The dataset comprises DIC and TA from discrete water samples collected by CTD rosette onboard RRS James Cook (JC231) in May 2022. The samples were collected for quality check of retrieved (CTD cast 3) and newly deployed (CTD cast 10) pCO2 sensors on the PAP1 mooring in the Northeast Atlantic Ocean. The data were generated under the Climate Linked Atlantic Sector Science (CLASS) project funded by the Natural Environmental Research Council (NERC).
