A satellite-based dataset named "CloudCast". It consists of 70080 images covering 10 distinct cloud types, and is intended for pixel-level annotation of multi-layered atmospheres. The dataset was acquired between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2018, with a spatial resolution of 928 × 1530 pixels (each pixel corresponding to a 3 × 3 km area), and the temporal interval between consecutive frames is 15 minutes. All frames are centered and projected over Europe.
