Effects of cordycepin on murine macrophage-like cells in the presence and absence of an inflammatory stimulus

To perform high-throughput, transcriptome-wide analysis on RAW 264.7 cells treated with cordycepin with and without bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to investigate cordycepin's anti-inflammatory properties and determine whether particular classes of RNAs were sensitive to cordycepin. RAW 264.7 cells were used with four conditions: cells were pre-treated for an hour with cordycepin or DMSO (vehicle), and then either did or did not have LPS added. Regardless of LPS treatment, cells were incubated for a further hour. Experiment was performed in biological quadruplicate, with each replicate collected on a different day.
