This resource provides meteorological and glaciological data from two automatic weather stations operated at Hintereisferner glacier (Austria). The data cover a full annual glaciological cycle (Oct. 2003- Nov. 2004) and allow for investigation of the year-round local meteorological conditions and surface exchange processes in the ablation and accumulation area of the glacier. The data may also be used to drive and validate respective numerical models.
