Breast cancer metastasis to gynecological organs – a clinico-pathological and molecular profiling study.

Breast cancer metastasis to gynecological organs is an understudied pattern of tumor spread. We explored clinico-pathologic and molecular features of these metastases to better understand this unique pattern of dissemination. Copy number profiles were compared between primary breast cancers and the ovarian metastases to understand clonal evolution during progression to these sites.
