Tomographic Inversion Output from Northern Chile

Three model files are provided. The file 'raw_output.txt' contains the uninterpolated three-dimensional tomographic inversion results obtained using SIMUL23 (Eberhart-Phillips et al., 2024). The files 'interpolated_Vp_model.txt' and 'interpolated_VpVs_model.txt' contain the corresponding interpolated P-wave velocity (Vp) and Vp/Vs ratio models, respectively. All files include descriptive headers. The study region spans 20.4–22.5°S in latitude and 68.0–70.0°W in longitude, corresponding to the Northern Chile subduction zone. Only earthquakes with focal depths shallower than 200 km were included in the inversion, ensuring that the resulting velocity structure primarily reflects slab and upper mantle processes within the intermediate-depth seismicity range.
