Scripts for spatiotemporal analysis of the prevalence and incidence of gestational and congenital toxoplasmosis in Bahia State, Brazil (2019–2024)

This package contains anonymized and reproducible versions of the scripts used to prepare, integrate, describe, and model municipal data on gestational and congenital toxoplasmosis in Bahia State, Brazil, from 2019 to 2024. The workflow includes extraction and derivation of climate, land-use/land-cover, social vulnerability, human development, and environmental degradation variables; inspection and integration of the epidemiological dataset; descriptive and spatial analyses; variable selection and curation; classical, mixed, zero-inflated, Bayesian spatial/spatiotemporal epidemiological models; residual diagnostics; and MULTISPATI analysis of selected predictors. All local paths and personal identifiers were removed and replaced with generic placeholders that must be adapted by users.
