To investigate the role of Kudzu root extract in regulating gut microbiota, male SD rats were divided into Control group, HFD group, KUE-L group, and KUE-H group. A non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) rat model was established by feeding a high-fat diet (HFD). In the 9th week, the HFD group rats were orally administered KUE at 250 mg/kg and 500 mg/kg once a day. The rats' body weight was measured weekly, and after continuous feeding for 16 weeks, the feces of each group of rats were collected for 16S rRNA sequencing and analysis of gut microbiota
