Share of domestic vs foreign funds raised through crowdfunding in Europe 2022

The vast majority of funds raised through crowdfunding platforms in Europe took place on domestic platforms, but there were significant differences across regions. Northern Europe benefited the most from domestic flows, with 32.6 percent of its total volumes coming from international sources. In contrast, international volumes made up just 6.2 percent in Eastern Europe and 2.1 percent in Western Europe. Southern Europe saw minimal international contributions.
