To understand the response of bacterial communities under different disturbances (shrub encroachment & planting grass). Using Potentilla fruticosa encroachment systems and forage land as a model, this study investigated the effects of shrub encroachment and land use on bacterial communities in alpine grass soil at the Eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau of China. Soil microbial communities were examined using high-throughput sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene (V4-V5 region, Illumina MiSeq).
