Data supporting the study "Wing dam effects on water and bed levels in rivers is influenced by bedload type"

This dataset collection includes all data files used to create the figures and support the analyses presented in the manuscript "Wing dam effects on water and bed levels in rivers is influenced by bedload type". The files encompass a variety of hydrodynamic and morphodynamic parameters such as dimensionless hydraulic variables (e.g., bed width ratio, drag coefficients, Shields parameter, relative roughness, friction velocity ratios), channel geometry (e.g., channel width), as well as sediment characteristics including grain size distributions. The data are provided in CSV format with clear headers, and are organized such that each file represents a coherent set of related variables. Metadata within the files indicate whether the measurement corresponds to river sections with or without wing dams installed. This comprehensive dataset enables reproducibility of the results and supports further investigation of how wing dams influence river morphology and hydraulics, with a particular focus on the role of bedload types.
