File species.level.data.csv contains climatic/environmental variables (annual mean temperature, annual precipitation, percent tree cover, mean temperature of warmest quarter, precipitation of warmest quarter) obtained based on each passerine species breeding range and male and female plumage lightness. Species name (TipLabel) matches nomenclature at www.birdtree.org. Also provided are mid latitude for each species' range and taxonomic family.<br>File assemblage.level.data contains for each ~100x100km cell assemblage: average annual mean temperature, average annual precipitation, average percent tree cover, and average male and female passerine plumage lightness. Also included are each cells' mid latitude and longitude, its zoogeographic realm (terrestrial_realm) and number of species of passerines found in it (species_richness)
