资源简介:
Molecular chaperones are described to be involved in maintenance of active structure of proteins. Some, like chaperonin GroEL, are also involved in buffering deleterious phenotypic effects of mutations. This study aims to corroborate this mutational buffering effect of major E.coli chaperone, DnaK, by means of performing a mutation accumulation experiment followed by whole-genome re-sequencing.
