Circadian rhythms control the diurnal nature of many physiological, metabolic and immune processes. Circadian rhythms are tightly controlled by positive and negative transcriptional loops; This circuitry is altered during aging altering tissue daily function. Lungs from 2-month-old and 22-month-old male mice were perfused with PBS and harvested every 4 hours from ZT0 (Light on) to ZT24 with ZT12 corresponding to light off.
昼夜节律(Circadian Rhythm)调控众多生理、代谢与免疫过程的昼夜节律性。昼夜节律由正、负转录环路严格调控;该调控网络在衰老过程中发生改变,进而影响组织的日常生理功能。本研究对2月龄与22月龄雄性小鼠的肺部采用磷酸盐缓冲液(Phosphate Buffered Saline, PBS)灌流,并于节律时间(Zeitgeber Time, ZT)0(光照开启)至ZT24期间每4小时采集一次肺部样本,其中ZT12对应光照关闭时刻。
