Atmospheric Fog Dataset

Fog collectors were deployed in 2022 at Fritzsche Field near Monterey, California during the summer fog season (late May to mid-August). Fritzsche Field is located at a meteorological station, approximately 5 km from the coast and 40 m above sea level. Fog collectors were oriented toward the prevailing wind direction based on historical meteorological records from the station. This dataset contains three files collected during the field campaign: Wind speed data recorded at the meteorological station. Fog collection rates ( RM, FH (0.6x0.6m) frame, and SFC (1x1m frame)) Fog droplet diameter and concentration measurements obtained from FM-120 instrumentation.
