StEER - 3 March 2019 Tornadoes in the Southeastern US: Field Assessment Structural Team (FAST) Early Access Reconnaissance Report (EARR)

This Early Access Reconnaissance Report (EARR) summarizes the structural performance of buildings and other structures in the 3 March 2019 tornado outbreak that struck the southeastern United States with at least 34 confirmed tornadoes. The report focuses on building performance in the EF4 tornado that struck Beauregard, AL, the EF2 tornado that struck Eufaula, AL, the EF3 tornado that struck near Tallahassee, FL and the EF2 tornado that impacted Cairo, GA. Each of these tornado paths were assessed by StEER Field Assessment Teams, whose preliminary observations are summarized herein.
