Potato leaves contain nutrient-rich metabolites for epiphytic bacteria. However, it is unclear whether microbes are involved in the metabolic regulation of potato plants by methyl jasmonate (MeJA). Therefore, we investigated to ascertain the impact of MeJA on leaf phenotype. Additionally, we employed an integrated approach combining untargeted metabolomics with microbial 16S rRNA gene sequencing to analyze the functional potential of epiphytic bacteria. This is the rawdate of bacteria.
