资源简介:
This data paper provides an overview of an accompanying dataset of energy and emission pathways for the EU-27 member countries and the EU-27 as a region, with details provided on an individual country and overall regional basis. This data paper is aligned with previous research the authors undertook for Group of Twenty (G20) member states, which contains country-based decarbonisation pathways that align with a global carbon budget between 400 GtCO2 and 500 GtCO2, to limit the mean global temperature rise to 1.5°C, with an over 50% likelihood [1]. The regional share of the EU-27 is defined as 32 GtCO2. The detailed country-specific data sets contain annual CO2 emissions, Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, industry- and country-specific energy intensities, as well as energy consumption and production values up to 2050 in 5-year increments. The data was calculated with the 1.5 °C sectoral pathways of the One Earth Climate Model (OECM) —an integrated energy assessment model developed by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) - to support science-based decarbonization target setting for industries, financial institutions, and government organizations.
