资源简介:
The transformation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) by microfungi that tolerate extreme environmental conditions experienced in the presence of recalcitrant organic pollutants may be of outstanding importance for mycoremediation of PAH-polluted sites, in a cost-efficient and environmentally friendly manner (see Venice et al., 2020; Davolos et al., 2021). Cephalotrichum sp. MUT 6686 (Hypocreomycetidae; Microascales; Microascaceae) was isolated from soil contaminated by petroleum (refined oil stocking areas) in Italy. The strain is preserved in the public mycological collection of Mycotheca Universitatis Taurinensis (MUT), University of Turin, Turin, Italy. Here, we report the draft genome sequence of the strain MUT 6686 obtained with MinIon instrument (Oxford Nanopore Technology). The genome of Cephalotrichum sp. MUT 6686 was assembled denovo (35.9 Mb, GC % 55.26) and may elucidate several biological processes, including the secondary metabolism biosynthetic gene clusters (Davolos et al., 2021).The Department of Technological Innovations and Safety of Plants, Products and Anthropic Settlements (DIT), INAIL, Research Area, Rome, Italy, financially supported the whole genome sequencing (WGS) of Cephalotrichum sp. MUT 6686 as part of the NGS Project in the PAR 2019-2021.
