The complete genome of Burkholderia thailandensis strain BUR_TH_250524, isolated from soil in Kerala, India, has been sequenced. Genome analysis revealed two chromosomes comprising approximately 5,800 genes, including multiple determinants associated with antibiotic resistance and environmental stress adaptation. Additionally, seven prophage regions were identified, suggesting potential mechanisms for genetic adaptation and evolution.
