Deinococcus wulumuqiensis R12 was isolated from radiationpolluted soil in north-west China. R12 is gamma- and UV-ray-resistant. Few genomic research about it has been performed until now. Here we present the draft genome sequence of S12, hope to find and analysis its key enzymes of its resilience mechanisms.
