This study includes hepatic transcriptomics of aged male mice subjected to either 1) control, 2) polypharmacy or 3) polypharmacy followed by deprescribing. At 12 months of age mice were randomized to either control or polypharmacy. At 21 months of age mice on polypharmacy were randomized to either continue polypharmacy treatment or undergo gradual cessation of drug treatment. At 24 months of age mice were sacrificed and liver tissue was collected for RNA sequencing. Polypharmacy treatment consisted of simvastatin, metoprolol, oxybutynin and citalopram in the diet and oxycodone in drinking water.
