"The Insects of Australia" full-colour plates 1 to 8

This collection is comprised of high-resolution scans from the eight full-colour plates in the CSIRO publication "The Insects of Australia - a textbook for students and research workers, Volumes I and II, 2nd Edition".
Plate 1: Odonata (dragonflies)
Plate 2: Mantodea (mantids), Blattodea (cockroaches), Dermaptera (earwigs), Orthoptera (grasshoppers, crickets and katydids).
Plate 3: Hemiptera (bugs)
Plate 4: Coleoptera (beetles)
Plate 5: Coleoptera (beetles), Diptera (flies), Hymenoptera (bees, ants and wasps).
Plate 6: Batesian Mimicry.
Plate 7: Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths)
Plate 8: Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths)
A ninth plate, depicting termite heads, has been included in this collection but was not published in the final volumes.
