Professional Exhaustion 2003-2005, Panel Survey

This data set is derived from "Professional Exhaustion 2003-2005, Panel Survey", that is a follow-up survey of "professional Exhaustion 2003". Both these surveys have been conducted by Statistics Norway on the commission of the Norwegian Medical Association. The questionnaire that were utilised in 2005 was almost identical to the questionnaire that was used in 2003.

The purpose of the survey was to elucidate how persons in professions that presumably are particularly exposed to work pressure experience the relationship between work-related challenges and strains and their own physical and psychological health. This would facilitate a better understanding of the so-called exhaustion process. Also, the panel qualitites of the survey make it possible to observe the development over time.
