<p>In the current study, the correspondence between teacher and peer nomination methods for the identification of preference and popularity was examined. Participants were 733 children in grade 5/6 (M age = 12.05 years, SD = .64; 53.3 percent boys) and their 29 teachers. Participants were recruited for the sixth measurement wave of the Nijmegen Longitudinal Study (NLS) on Infant and Child Development in The Netherlands. Children and teachers completed nomination questions for preference, popularity, and 12 social behaviors.</p><p>All information about the content of the files is described in 'read me.pdf'. All information about the recruitment, participants and data collection can also be found in 'read me.pdf'.<br>The data can be found in two SPSS data files. All computations can be found in the three syntax files.</p>
