The records in this series provide details of the allocation and payment of funds by the Victoria Institute of Colleges to its constituent colleges. Separate accounts were maintained for each college. Control accounts were used to provide overall summaries.The format of the records varies somewhat. Units 2, 3, and 4 are akin to ledgers in their physical form and in the way the information is organised. Unit 1, on the other hand, consists of a file in which the funding information is recorded on a number of loose pages for each college.
