Bacterial ecology of red clover silage modulated by different management factors

The objective was to evaluate how silage additives can modulate the ensiling process and composition of microbial communities of a mixture of red clover and timothy grass under different management conditions. This study will provide new insights into the holistic understanding of the silage fermentation process. This approach offers new information that allows us to manipulate the silage fermentation mechanisms, which consequently contribute to the improvement of the quality and use of the silage.
