This dataset provides monthly and annual runoff records from 1944 to 2016 collected at the Yingluoxia Hydrological Station, which is the outlet control station of the mainstream of the Heihe River. Located in Longqu Township, Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, the Yingluoxia Hydrological Station is a national key hydrological station and a central flood-reporting station. It serves as the iconic monitoring section for inter-provincial water diversion between Gansu and Inner Mongolia along the Heihe River, with a catchment area of 10009 km² and being 303 km from the river source. Additionally, it acts as the boundary section separating the upper and middle reaches of the Heihe River.
