Viral metagenome of selected tubers Genome sequencing and assembly

This study will conduct a high throughput sequencing survey of viruses found in tubers imported to Ireland (Oca, Yacon, Chinese artichoke, Jerusalem artichoke). This will identify plant viruses associated with the tubers, and establish a database of their viral sequences to support development of diagnostic tools.
