资源简介:
Elevated serum uric acid is not only a biomarker for metabolic disorders but also an active signaling molecule implicated in systemic inflammation. However, its direct effects on the gene expression profile of intestinal epithelial cells (IECs), which are crucial for maintaining barrier function and immune homeostasis, remain poorly understood. This study aims to comprehensively characterize the transcriptomic alterations in human intestinal epithelial cells following exposure to high concentrations of uric acid. Using RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), we compared the gene expression patterns between control and uric acid-treated groups. The findings are expected to identify key regulatory pathways modulated by uric acid, providing novel insights into how hyperuricemia may contribute to intestinal barrier dysfunction and associated gastrointestinal pathologies
