Temporal patterns in soil bacterial communities

We sampled indigenous forest and human-impacted sites repeatedly over a period of five years to investigate (1) how within-site spatial variation in bacterial communities impacts the perception of temporal variation in these communities, (2) the temporal variation in bacterial communities observed in different land uses and (3) how bacterial community richness and composition in indigenous forest soils change over time.
