In this research work we had isolated apotent bacterial strain SSA-7 from Western Ghats part of Kerala which is a synergisticallycapable for hydrolyzing cellulose with highly active betaglucosidase. Our findings deepen thecurrent understanding about the effective utilization of bacterial enzyme for the effectivehydrolysis of plant biomass. The newly isolated soil bacterium, Glutamicibacter nicotianaeSSA-7 had clearly proved the production of betaglucosidase along with exo andendo glucosidases and in optimized fermentation condition the enzyme production hadenhanced. We had effectively hydrolyzed major lignocellulosic biowastes by SSA-7 and for the bio energyproduction as well as the coast effective decomposition of plant cellulosic wastes will help toavoid pollution by burning of biowastes a well as carbon fuels. In the present scenario we are putforwarding our study reports regarding the isolation, identification and hydrolyzing potential ofGlutamicibacter nicotianae SSA-7 with special reference to the maximum production andpurification of betaglucosidase.
