A log handling device (1)， comprising a rotatable rotor (3) provided with log handling means (4)， and a feeding means (5) attached to the rotor (3) for conducting an op- erating medium to the log handling means (4). The feeding means (5) is arranged to wind around the rotor (3) when the rotor (3) is rotated in a first direction， and which feed- ing means (5) is arranged to unwind from around the rotor (3) when the rotor (3) is rotated in a second direction. The log handling device (1) comprises a rotatable second rotor (6) to which the feeding means (5) is attached， and an op- erating device for rotating the second rotor (6) synchro- nously with the rotor (3)， such that the feeding means (5) is arranged to wind around the second rotor (6) when the rotor (3) is rotated in the second direction， and that the feeding means (5) is arranged to unwind from around the second rotor (6) when the rotor (3) is rotated in the first direction.
